Unintended Treason

Constitution, Article 3, Section 3 definition for treason:

adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.

Eight Presidents declared foreign oil an enemy:

This enemy of foreign “oil addiction” caused grave harm while being expanded by the men violating the Constitution:

The Governing did not intend to create Climate Change, perpetutal oil-wars, oil-dollar funded terrorism, resource depletion, $20 trillion in debt, and unfolding Oil Famine. They intended to do “good”. “The path to hell is paved with good intentions.”

Since June 2015, US oil production has be depleting at 11% per year. It is highly probable that by 2019 the near collapse of 2008 will replay into Oil Famine. Oil-wars since 1991, oil-dollar funded terrorist attacks, and the coming of Oil Famine are the unintended treason.

The Constitution mandates limited government to prevent this unintended treason. Five President vetoes explain the limitations on “internal improvements“. Declaring a “Living Constiituiton”, the men controlling the Federal government violated the written Constitution, committed treason and created Civilization Killers.

Illicit Energy is the Path to War

Illicit Energy is dependence on energy outside self-reliance. It is a know path for Americans to go to war with Americans. Federal support for foreign oil and slavery repeats the same path to war.

While eight Presidents have identified foreign oil as an enemy, the men controlling Federal powers violated the “post Roads” and “harbors” restrictions in the Constitution to aid this enemy by taxing and building infrastructure that mandated foreign oil increase from 20% to 50% of needs.

Actively increasing the demand for foreign oil, actively mandating oil dollars flow to support terrorism, fulfills the Constitution’s Article 3, Section 3 definition for treason, adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.

Unconstitional Monopolies

Federalist #51 (Madison): “If men were angels, no government would be necessary. If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary. In framing a government which is to be administered by men over men, the great difficulty lies in this: you must first enable the government to control the governed; and in the next place oblige it to control itself.

Men are not angels. Men seeking power, are men not angels. They are men seeking to expand their personal power by controlling the Monopoly of Violence delegated to the Federal government. To constrain their lust for power, We the People, the Sovereigns:

  • Limited Federal coercion to supressing the paths to war, and limited its application of violence to declared wars as stated in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.
  • Divided Sovereignty between the Federal and State governments as Madison explains in Federalist #45:

“The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite. The former will be exercised principally on external objects, as war, peace, negotiation, and foreign commerce; with which last the power of taxation will, for the most part, be connected. The powers reserved to the several States will extend to all the objects which, in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives, liberties, and properties of the people, and the internal order, improvement, and prosperity of the State.”

To be economically competition within the framework of Federal infrastructure monopolies, the average American consumes 88.5 megaWatt-Hours of energy per year. By contrast, infrastruture in Germany requires only 47.2 megaWatt-Hours per German per year.

Americans would save $300-$500 billion a year in foreign oil costs there were free markets to deploy sustainable transportation networks. The efficiency and safety of such networks are well understood:

  • The suspended train in Wuppertal, Germany carriers 25 million passengers per year with one fatal accident since it opened in 1903.
  • The Personal Rapid Transit (PRT or podcar) network built as a solution to the 1973 Oil Embargo in Morgantown, WV has delivered over 110 million oil-free, injury-free passenger-miles since it opened in 1975. In that same period of time, 1.7 million Americans have been killed on the government highway monopoly.
  • About 294 million people visit theme parks each year with 4.6 injuries per million people. Protected by sovereign immunity, the road-kills are 10.25 per 100,000, or a kill-rates of 20 times the injury-rate of commercial trill rides.
  • The 140,000 miles of freight railroads in the US average 476 ton-miles per gallon of diesel. This is over 140 times the efficiency of moving a ton to move a person in a car on highways.

Since the unconstitutional Federal-Aid Highways Act of 1956 removed efficiency as a market force and created a Federal monopoly over transportation infrastructure:

  • Nearly half, about 120,000 miles of freight railroads were driven out of business and abandoned.
  • Efforts to expand PRT networks have been stifled.

We create governments to coerce compliance with laws. Innovartion is a disruptive complaince failure. So when the men controlling the powers of government create unconstitutional commerical monopolies, they use the coercive powers of government to protect their monopolies from competition.

The near century of rotary telephones under the Federal communications monopoly illustrates the stifling of innovations. In 1926, Nikola Tesla outlined the modern smartphone:

“When wireless is perfectly applied the whole earth will be converted into a huge brain, which in fact it is, all things being particles of a real and rhythmic whole. We shall be able to communicate with one another instantly, irrespective of distance. Not only this, but through television and telephony we shall see and hear one another as perfectly as though we were face to face, despite intervening distances of thousands of miles; and the instruments through which we shall be able to do his will be amazingly simple compared with our present telephone. A man will be able to carry one in his vest pocket.”

Oil-wars To Expand

In 2010, the Joint Forces Command warned all US military commands:

By 2012, surplus oil production capacity could entirely disappear, and as early as 2015, the shortfall in output could reach nearly 10 million barrels per day.

A severe energy crunch is inevitable without a massive expansion of production and refining capacity. While it is difficult to predict precisely what economic, political, and strategic effects such a shortfall might produce, it surely would reduce the prospects for growth in both the developing and developed worlds. Such an economic slowdown would exacerbate other unresolved tensions, push fragile and failing states further down the path toward collapse, and perhaps have serious economic impact on both China and India. At best, it would lead to periods of harsh economic adjustment. To what extent conservation measures, investments in alternative energy production, and efforts to expand petroleum production from tar sands and shale would mitigate such a period of adjustment is difficult to predict. One should not forget that the Great Depression spawned a number of totalitarian regimes that sought economic prosperity for their nations by ruthless conquest.

Energy production and distribution infrastructure must see significant new investment if energy demand is to be satisfied at a cost compatible with economic growth and prosperity.

The discovery rate for new petroleum and gas fields over the past two decades (with the possible exception of Brazil) provides little reason for optimism that future efforts will find major new fields.

Perpetual Oil-Wars Were Well Understood Since 1957

In 1957 perpetual oil-wars was well understood as noted in the speech by Admiral Rickover:

What assurance do we then have that our energy needs will continue to be supplied by fossil fuels: The answer is – in the long run – none.

The earth is finite. Fossil fuels are not renewable. In this respect our energy base differs from that of all earlier civilizations. They could have maintained their energy supply by careful cultivation. We cannot. Fuel that has been burned is gone forever. Fuel is even more evanescent than metals. Metals, too, are non-renewable resources threatened with ultimate extinction, but something can be salvaged from scrap. Fuel leaves no scrap and there is nothing man can do to rebuild exhausted fossil fuel reserves. They were created by solar energy 500 million years ago and took eons to grow to their present volume.

In the face of the basic fact that fossil fuel reserves are finite, the exact length of time these reserves will last is important in only one respect: the longer they last, the more time do we have, to invent ways of living off renewable or substitute energy sources and to adjust our economy to the vast changes which we can expect from such a shift.

Fossil fuels resemble capital in the bank. A prudent and responsible parent will use his capital sparingly in order to pass on to his children as much as possible of his inheritance. A selfish and irresponsible parent will squander it in riotous living and care not one whit how his offspring will fare.

The Federal Highway Program is Unconstitutional

The Federal-Aid Highway Act of 1956 the path to oil addiction and perpetual oil-wars was made formal US Federal policy, in direct violation of the Constitution.

It is treason to violate the Constitution while subordinating the survival of America to a foreign power. Addiction to foreign oil is a foreign power.
