There are many ways to help facilitate bringing Personal Rapid Transit to your community. The most important way is by letting your government representatives know that you want to bring about positive change by breaking up the automobile transportation monopoly. By allowing modes of transportation in our city that can exceed 150 mph, we can reduce personal cost of transportation while at the same time reducing green house gases and air pollution.
Some communities have already taken the first step:
BAY STATE SUNWAY – an unincorporated group of professionals, businesspeople and residents interested in bringing JPods to the greater Boston area.
AUSTIN PRT – Austin Personal Rapid Transit, led by visionary entrepreneur Richard Garriott, wants to bring this new and intelligent form of mass transportation to the city of Austin.
