Paradoxes

Three Paradoxes we must operate within:

  1. Stockdale Paradox: Unwavering faith we will prevail while facing the most brutal facts of our current reality
    • The JPods team must correct a century of unconstitutional government monopolies.
    • Since the 16th, 17th, and 18th Amendment America’s compound republic was replaced by a national democracy. The “Ambition must be made to counter ambition” of Divided Sovereignty explained in Federalist #1-46 was displaced by Federal consolidation. Although the policing of commerce allowed by the 18th Amendment was repealed by the 21st Amendment the police institutions remained to enforce Federal socializing of transportation, energy, and communications infrastructure as “natural monopolies”.
      • Violating the Constitution’s “post Road” enumerated limit, The Federal-Aid Highway Act of 1916 has mandated the 25 mpg transportation efficiency of the Model-T for a century.
      • Until declared unconstitutional by the courts in 1982, nearly a century of rotary telephones was mandated by the Federal communications monopoly put in place by Executive Order 2594, “Authorizing the Secretary of War to Take Possession of Certain Telegraph and Telephone Systems and to Operate the Same”.
      • The entire renewable energy industry that was making 80,000 windmills a year was wiped out and replaced by coal burning monopolies by the Rural Electrification Act of 1936.
      • Mixing Federal war-powered, police powers, and commercial self-interest removed policing of Federally mandated misconduct. Authorities do not police their own misconduct. Consequences are:
  2. Lifeboat Paradox: You are unlikely to need a lifeboat if you are self-disciplined to have one and are skilled in its use.
    • The JPods Team will exercise the self-discipline to be energy self-reliant, powering our networks and manufacturing base within a solar budget.
  3. Liberty Paradox: The “general welfare” innovates based on liberty and coercion. Coercion by governments to minimize violence from war and crime. Liberty so Disruptive Minorities can offer choices that the Wisdom of the Many sorts.
    • Governments must monopolize violence to minimize war, crimes, and usufruct violations by coercing compliance with law. Usufruct -> to use for profit without harm.
    • Two aspects of liberty intertwine in a Darwinian crucible of creative destruction.
      1. Tolerance of Disruptive Minorities offering choices
      2. Tolerance of the Wisdom of the Many sorting those choices in free markets and free speech.

JPods team efforts:

  1. The JPods Team’s invention of solar-powered transport networks is a disruptive choice that will change economic lifeblood from oil to ingenuity.
  2. The JPods Team must restore liberty to innovate and allow customers to sort innovations in free markets.

Intent: The JPods team is changing economic lifeblood from oil to ingenuity.

Objective: The JPods team will build and certify the world’s first solar-powered transport networks by Dec 20, 2023.  The network will be energy self-reliant and profitably move people and cargo in payloads less than 500 kg (half-ton).

JPods Core Beliefs:

Beliefs create culture. Culture creates habits. Habits create enduring outcomes. Within our company, we are creating a culture that exercises the self-discipline to be energy self-reliant and applying our habits to build solar-powered urban mobility networks.

  • We believe in liberty. Two aspects of Liberty intertwine in a Darwinian crucible of creative destruction to innovate the “general welfare”:
    • Tolerance of Disruptive Minorities offering choices.
    • Tolerance of people sorting choices via free markets and free speech, the Wisdom of the Many.
  • We believe access to personal on-demand mobility is the physical manifestation of liberty.
  • JPods’ intent is to provide liberty to go where you want, when you want, regardless of age, ability, or wealth.
